AVORA Garment Restorer

I almost threw away two sweaters before trying this. They were covered in little fuzz balls from washing, especially around the sleeves. I used the AVORA fabric shaver for a few minutes and they honestly looked new again. It’s easy to hold and not heavy. I like seeing the lint collect inside, it’s weirdly satisfying. I’ve used it on hoodies, leggings and even a knit blanket. You do have to empty the container if you’re doing something thick, but that’s normal. Overall I’m really happy with it.

I’ve owned cheaper lint removers before and they always felt weak. This one is noticeably stronger and works faster. It clears pilling in one or two passes instead of going over the same spot forever. I mostly use it on my couch and throw pillows because my dog sheds everywhere. It made them look way cleaner. It feels sturdy and not cheap. Definitely better than the basic ones I’ve had before.

I didn’t realize how many of my clothes looked worn out just because of pilling. I tried this on a wool coat first and was honestly surprised how smooth it looked after. It’s quick and kind of addictive to use. I ended up doing a bunch of sweaters the same night. It doesn’t snag fabric if you move it gently, which was something I was worried about. Battery lasted long enough to finish everything I needed.

I bought this mainly for sweaters and workout leggings. After a few washes they always get those little fuzz balls. This removed them without damaging the fabric. It’s easy to control and not too loud. You don’t need to press hard, just glide it over the surface. The lint compartment fills up fast on thicker fabric but it’s easy to empty. Makes clothes look more put together again.
